Harry Sideris Takes on the Role of President

In his capacity as President, Sideris will be in charge of Duke Energy’s gas and electric utilities, emphasizing operations and customer service. In order to facilitate a smooth handoff of leadership, he will answer directly to Lynn Good. Having held the position of Executive Vice President of Customer Experience, Solutions, and Services before, Sideris brings a plethora of expertise to his new position. He successfully oversaw customer, transmission, and distribution operations in this role. He also led initiatives for economic development.
Sideris has worked at Duke Energy for a number of years, holding a number of executive roles such as Chief Distribution Officer, Senior Vice President of Environmental, Health, and Safety, and President of the company’s Florida-regulated utility. With his extensive knowledge of the business and his familiarity with stakeholders and regulations, he is in a unique position to lead Duke Energy’s operations and utilities through this revolutionary time.
